Beyond the light veil of mostly undisturbed snow and dead leaves, a thin line jiggled its way through the white sheet like a worm burrowing horizontally through the surface. You were doing your best to keep up despite recovering but a few hours ago, now trudging after your guide in a similar manner as an elk drunk on fermented fruit.
